Davey, P., 2009: A local wetland species found as far north as southern Scotland, the larva feeding inside the stems of reed-canary grass (Phalaris arundinacea) and reed sweet-grass (Glyceria maxima). In Dorset, the moth shares the same habitat and has a similar density to that of Small Clouded Brindle2331.
