Davey, P., 2009: Last seen in 1963, this species is believed to be extinct in Britain. It was formerly restricted to a handful of localities on calcareous soil in southern England, the larva feeding on various grasses, particularly meadow-grasses (Poa spp.). In Dorset, there is one record: Portland, (R Bretherton, South London Ent. Soc. Proc., 1964, p27).
