Davey, P., 2009: A local species in Britain, the larva feeding on lime (Tilia spp.). In Dorset, the moth is local and at low density, occurring in the vicinity of small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata) in old woodland in the north-east of the county, and amongst lime (Tilia platyphyllos x Tilia cordata) growing in parks and planted by local councils along streets in towns across the rest of the county.
