Davey, P., 2009: A low-density species in Britain, the larva feeding on red currant (Ribes rubrum), black currant (Ribes nigrum) and gooseberry (Ribes uva-crispa). In Dorset, the moth tended to colonise suburban environments where host foodplants are grown in allotments and gardens: Portland, Iwerne Minster, Swanage, Parkstone, Lilliput, Luscombe Valley.
